Our Interlocking Pavers Services
Residential driveways, patios, walkways, commercial plazas and more.

Interlocking Paver Driveways
An interlocking paver driveway is one of the most rewarding investments you can make for your property. It delivers a premium appearance, superior long-term durability compared to asphalt, and unmatched ease of maintenance. In the event of localized damage, only the affected pavers need to be replaced, no need to resurface the entire driveway. Terrovia offers a wide selection of formats, colours, and patterns to complement your home’s architecture.

Patios and Terraces
A well-designed paver patio transforms your backyard into a true outdoor living space. Terrovia Inc. handles design, site preparation, installation, and finishing, taking into account the natural slope of the terrain, drainage, and your aesthetic vision. Whether you want a simple, clean patio or a multi-level terrace with integrated retaining walls, we have the expertise to bring it to life.

Walkways & Pedestrian Paths
Interlocking paver walkways and paths add structure and elegance to your outdoor spaces while improving pedestrian safety. They integrate seamlessly with existing landscaping and can be arranged in curves, patterns, or colour combinations to create a distinctive visual effect. Terrovia ensures rigorous installation on a compacted base to guarantee long-term stability and durability.

Decorative Borders & Retaining Walls
Paver borders cleanly define zones within your landscaping, separating lawn from driveway, flower beds from walkways, or different sections of a parking area. Decorative retaining walls manage grade changes while adding strong visual dimension to the overall design. Terrovia masters both disciplines and integrates them seamlessly into your projects.

Commercial Courtyard & Plaza Installations
Large retailers, office complexes, and residential developments increasingly rely on interlocking paver installations to differentiate their property and enhance the visitor experience. Terrovia Inc. manages large-scale commercial paver projects, public plazas, building entrances, rest areas, and exterior circulation zones, with the rigour and execution capacity these sites demand.

Repair and restoration of existing pavers
Time, frost, and soil movement can cause existing pavers to sink, shift, or crack. Terrovia Inc. assesses the condition of your paver surface and intervenes with precision to replace damaged units, correct depressions, clean joints, and re-level the surface. Unlike asphalt, interlocking pavers allow for localized repairs without redoing the entire surface, representing significant cost savings while fully restoring the original appearance and functionality of your installation.
Why Choose Interlocking Pavers?
Interlocking pavers are one of the most durable and visually versatile outdoor surface options available. Designed to flex with the natural movement of the ground, they outperform rigid surfaces in Quebec’s freeze-thaw climate while offering a level of aesthetic customization that asphalt simply cannot match.
Whether you are enhancing a residential property or designing a high-end commercial space, Terrovia’s interlocking paver installations are built to last decades with minimal maintenance. Every project starts with proper site preparation, a compacted granular base, and precision installation by experienced crews.

Interlocking Pavers FAQs
What is the difference between interlocking pavers and asphalt?
Asphalt is a continuous surface, cost-effective and quick to install, ideal for large areas. Interlocking pavers are made of individual units that offer great aesthetic flexibility, better resale value, and localized repairs without redoing the entire surface. Pavers also handle soil movement better due to their inherent flexibility. For premium residential driveways and prestigious commercial spaces, interlocking pavers are often the preferred choice.
Are interlocking pavers suitable for Quebec's climate?
Yes. Interlocking pavers are particularly well suited to Quebec’s freeze-thaw cycles. Unlike rigid surfaces, pavers can shift slightly under frost pressure and return to position without cracking. In addition, in the event of localized frost heave, only the affected pavers need to be lifted and reset, which is far more economical than an equivalent asphalt repair.
What maintenance does a paver surface require?
Interlocking pavers require relatively little maintenance. The main recommended interventions are: polymeric sand re-jointing every 3 to 5 years to stabilize the joints, occasional pressure washing to remove stains and vegetation, and application of a protective sealer to preserve colour and ease cleaning. In winter, avoid metal-edged shovels that can scratch pavers and use a de-icer compatible with concrete products.
Can interlocking pavers be installed over an existing asphalt surface?
In some cases, interlocking pavers can be installed directly over an existing asphalt surface if it is in good structural condition. This can reduce demolition and excavation costs. However, this approach is not always recommended as it may compromise the final surface height relative to existing curbs and drains. Our team evaluates each situation individually and recommends the best approach for your project.
How long does a paver driveway installation take?
For a standard residential driveway, installation generally takes between 2 and 5 days depending on the area, design complexity, and site conditions. The work includes demolition of the existing surface, excavation, installation of the granular base, compaction, and paver laying. Your project manager will provide a detailed schedule at the time of the quote.
